Money Talks Edu is honored to announce our fiscal partnership with Kenyon Meeks and Eugene Lett of Degree Chasing Athletics.
Amidst Mr. Meeks and Mr. Lett having more than two decades of experience mentoring at-risk youths; and alliances with State Representative Joanna McClinton, the Philadelphia Police Department’s 18th District, Captain Matthew Gillespie, and the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General.....
We now offer a combination of group peer development coaching and activities, such as financial literacy workshops, sportsmanship training, youth violence prevention exercises, trauma-informed care discussions, substance abuse prevention workshops, conflict resolution cohorts, and other life skill-focused programming.
"According to National Safe Place, homeless youths are at an increased risk of harm than other children their age. They are more likely to experience mental illness, suffer poor health, drop out of school, and become involved with or become criminal activity victims."
To offset these disparities, Money Talks Edu established
We are a village of educators, social workers, entrepreneurs, parents, and community leaders who are willing to provide proactive resolutions and extend our resources with hopes of strengthening relationships and gradually reducing the negative effects of generational poverty and the plaguing gun violence in Philadelphia’s most underserved communities.
Community Partners Include: Life Outside The Streets, Degree Chasing Athletics, Aikan Acts, Ebony Suns, and More Than A Sport, Inc, and more.
